About Peter Channell
I am a statistician with over fifteen years' experience in market research and was Group Statistician for Martin Hamblin (now GfK) for six years. There I worked on many pharmaceutical, consumer and financial research projects using a variety of analysis and modelling methods. Prior to Martin Hamblin I was a forecaster for Mintel, the UK's leading consumer market analysts. In 1999 I went solo in order to provide freelance statistical services to market research agencies and their clients.
I am a Full Member of the Market Research Society (MRS), a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and a Member of the Independent Consultants Group (ICG). I have a BSc (1) in Mathematics & Statistics from City University.
